Those Facebook and Instagram Reels just got a whole lot better. Meta is giving you more flexibility in your campaigns while entertaining the masses.
Some of the Reels ad features include text, template, music optimizations, and creative best practices to help you gain better results.
All of this is gearing up ahead of the holiday season to help businesses take advantage of Reels ads in what Meta is calling "the first AI-powered holiday season."
We kind of like that. It has a ring to it.
Here's the deal: people spend a lot of time watching Reels. The plays the Reels get exceeds 200 billion per day on Facebook and Instagram. Those are mind-boggling numbers. Are we doing anything else?
That's great news for those using Reels to sell products and services, though.
So, what are some of the new
Reels goodies?
How about Collection Ads? This is basically a big video with a bunch of small accompanying product images that let users swipe through items that look good to them.
Then there's Multi-Destination Carousel Ads. Sounds like a thrill ride to us. This exciting feature has multiple CTAs (you know, calls to action) that lead to different product pages and help users find items faster, which means they can spend more time purchasing your goods.
And one of our personal favorites reads like a dating app. It's the Swipe Left feature that gives users the chance to just "swipe left" to view your landing page and to get better acquainted with your product. Yeah, just like a dating app.
Then there's an exciting addition called the Advantage+ creative suite. This gem will help you automate your creative process and might even kick your creative juices into overdrive. It lets you automate the boring stuff so you can concentrate on being marvelous.
You get automatic templates to convert media to Reels format instantly, enhance images and videos, and even add 3D motion and depth. We get chills just thinking about the possibilities.
Heck, you can even find, choose, and add music to single image Reels during the campaign creation process, which is really cool because who doesn't like music?
And don't forget the Inventory Filter, which lets advertisers control the type of content that shows up next to their ads. You don't want your product to be surrounded by a bunch of stuff that might make you look bad, right?
If you've been looking for better results with your ad campaigns, it's time to bait that hook and "reel" them in with Meta's awesome new features.
